24 JunKittens & Babies

C, next door, is pregnant. She brought home a new kitten yesterday. Surprisingly her daughter A didn’t tell us all about it, until she was reminded. I told M we could go over for Five Minutes and meet the new kitten.

As we walked up to their house, C was telling me about how she was craving milk, and that she had been really tired lately. I told her that I had been really tired lately too & that I had been having protein cravings, nothing so specific as milk. She laughed & said “What, are you pregnant!?” I said “Yes!”

We’re about a month apart. M is two weeks older than A, and I’m a month behind her this time. The joke between us has been that we can hardly move away from each other until they’re older because it’s just too perfect that they can play with each other (and they adore each other). It was beautiful coincidence that we moved in next to them. I told her, “Now you can never move away!” Haha — we’ll be here a while yet, but we’ll both eventually outgrow our houses, especially with another child each.

We have much in common, yet we’re so different. I really like C, she’s a wonderful mama & I learn a lot from her. I’m glad that, in our different worlds, we’re going through this next to each other.

Ooh. Thanks for the warning. Today I’m having NO cravings whatsoever. Ugh. Morning sickness.

want to know a little trick to help with morning sickness….have a drink of gatorade before you get up…doesn’t stop it completely , but whow does it help…and it is good for you,
