Yesterday we went & capped the beer we made. Is very hoppy. I might sip a little off each one, I did after all help make it, but the thought of drinking more than a sip at a time is totally incomprehensible to me still. In the same way that I can […]

I took my little girls to their girl scouts meeting this evening & when the troop leader asked about people who can respect, who you look up to? The entire troop shouted OBAMA! Over & over. Totally unprompted. This is only their second meeting, most of the girls don’t really know […]

Well, the crud has settled in truly & but good despite my best efforts at, if not prevention, then early intervention. Things are ok, but I get really tired much more easily than usual — napping during the day and sleeping like the dead when I go to bed early. Lost my voice […]

M2 is dressed to the nines this morning already. I’m not sure what M1 is doing, reading maybe in her bedroom? Ah, now she’s out here telling her bff S all about the first week of school. BUT underlying all this, is a barely contained glee & excitement because Today is […]
Today was M2’s First Day of Kindergarten. She survived. She even had fun. She, of course, told Gramma & Grampa *much* more about her day than she told us. In a round about way I found out that one of the boys at her table “touched” her. Depending on the telling, he either tickled her […]
