NOM & Stuff

Got the stroganoff started. There’s going to be lots of left overs. Holy cow, there’s a lot in that crock pot. Also got the plans laid out for the bread marathon that commences this evening. I need to make sammich bread for the week, & double the starter for tomorrow’s cheddar, chive, & potato bread. I’d like to do the whole wheat sammich bread, but that calls for a good half cup of honey & we don’t get honey reinforcements for another three weeks & we only have about a pint, pint & a half left. Then tomorrow, I make the ccp bread & English muffins. And the English muffins definitely require honey with serving. Mmmm. Honey on English muffins. My Favorite Breakfast *evar*.

Lots of laundry piling up in front of me. Looks to be a star blazers (second season) & muppets night while we all fold laundry. Woo. Woo.

I got the fish tanks cleaned today, the tortoise has fresh water. M2 “helped” with the fish tank cleaning. And by “helped” I mean totally got in my way. I took a nap. I wish Olympus were open on Sundays, but no. But that’s ok because tomorrow is the wrap up of the latest bread marathon & I’m making mole. And we’re walking to the farmer’s market. And stuff. Maybe I’ll get around to pruning our rosemary out front again — it’s getting a little unruly out there.

I think it’s terribly funny that there’s a boy in M2’s class who, for all intents & purposes, seems to be named, “Matthew-who-picks-his-nose.” It’s not like there are two Matthews in her class, so that she uses the distinguishary title of “who picks his nose” every time she mentions him just cracks me up.

It’s a perfect early fall day.
