Kitty Update

I called the vet this evening just to see how things were going.  When Paul got her in, her temp had dropped so low that it didn’t register on her thermometer.  They had it up to 90F by the time I called.  Siobhan was breathing funny so she took an x-ray.  There’s fluid around her heart so they had to pull back some on the IV for dehydration to kind of try to find a balance.  She doesn’t know if there’s one thing causing all of this, or if there are three things causing all of this.  She doesn’t know if her temp is so low because everything is just in shut down mode.  She said we could call to check in tomorrow morning again.

Bleah.  I’m really afraid this might be it for Siobhamlette.  Apologies if you’ve already read this, I can’t type it again.  The chilluns are still awake & it all makes me quite weepy.
