It has been a surprisingly accomplished Saturday. Went out and got my Mom’s birthday present — a “double delight” rose. I let the girls pick & they decided this was best.
On our way “home” we stopped at the pet store, bought water plants, two replacement rasboras, and a couple cat toys.
Once home & fed, the water plants planted, the rasboras poking about their new home, I pruned my roses, which have all but one gone to bramble, but whatever, they’re kinda pretty & green even if they don’t put out many flowers anymore. I think they were gone to bramble when they were given to me, but someone was too soft to just toss them because they were still alive. And I guess I’m no better. Ah well.
Then I came inside, sat for a moment & decided that indeed, the fish tanks needed cleaned. And now they’re clean.
Now? I am ready to sit for a bit.
