So yesterday we woke up ridiculously late, and went out for brunch. All by ourselves! I had a smoked salmon scramble with hash browns. Sooo good. OM NOM NOM NOM! And then we wandered around and spent a shocking amount of money (for us, we’re very much into paying mostly our bills & not getting extravagant anything) on some really great gifts for people. It’s amazing what kind of cool stuff is out there when you have time to really browse & look at stuff rather than having to do a hit & run hoping that there are no major meltdowns, or shelves pulled down, or the like.
Eventually the wee ones came home. M2 was transferred over to me & she slept on me for a couple hours, and then wouldn’t go far from me, but she said she had a good time & would go back & do it again. I could go for that… After they were all settled in bed & asleep last night we wrapped presents. We actually have presents under our tree!
