Random Tuesday Updates

I didn’t actually get around to doing an update this weekend. We had the annual holiday party where my dad used to work — we thought all that was over when he retired, but apparently retirees get invites too. So we went and had a good time there. Got Santa pics — everyone with Santa. Then we came home & got the tree, decorated the tree, & stuff. Sunday was P’s birthday so we started off the day with cinnamon rolls & ignoring chores (hoorah!). In the afternoon, I went out with some friends for a bit, then came home & the crock-pot stroganoff was ready. OM NOM NOM NOM! My brother & his new bride (yeah, I know they’ve been married 1.5 years, whatevah) came over bearing gifts & P opened his presents. There was also cake. Tasty. M2 was a sleepy, kinda sick monkey.

On Monday, M2 had to stay home because she was sick. Poor baby. She slept from 4-7pm, then was up until 11:30pm eating because she missed dinner, but all she wanted were saltine crackers which have never in the history of the universe been filling. Then she wanted some rice with soy sauce.

I am very sleepy,even though I had a tasty cup of tea earlier today which usually over-caffeinates me. It has already been a long week. Is it can be naptiems now?
