Stuff

Feeling rambly tonight. Not really focused. I had a ridiculous lot of things I wanted to get done today & I didn’t. I did weed out a big ol’ garbage bag full of the girls’ clothing to donate (shhh! Don’t tell them — I can’t bear the tears & weeping!). M1 is pretty solidly in the 14-16 size now… most of her clothes are 10-12. Ooy. M2 is actually in 4’s! Yay M2! She’s growing! She’s still tiny, but her little legs are stretching out, much like Alice’s telescope outward.

It seems all of a sudden like there is an overwhelming amount of things that we need to do before we put the house up & not enough time or assistance to get it all done in. < whining snipped because blah blah blah blah >

I hate sending rejections out for pieces that are submitted. It has to be done, some pieces are just not ready for the light of day yet. It’s harder when the sentiment is *so* right, but the piece is just not together. If it’s close enough, sometimes I’ll play editor, but I’m not really an editor at heart. At least, not for these types of pieces.

Been watching the Planet Earth series on Discovery Sunday nights. It’s really pretty good. Beautiful photography. The music is a little over the top, enough that sometimes I laugh at it because it’s just SO over, but outside of that, interesting stuff.
