Glad The Monkey Is In Bed

The M2 monkey, that is…

Been an interesting day. This morning was M2’s return pediatric cardiologist visit. I was right, M2 is wearing a holter monitor. So far we’ve had to put three of the five little sticky things back on. They are stickies with a snap-on attachment for the wires. Hopefully she won’t lose anymore. I’ve used a crapload of white medical tape on top of them to hold them down at this point. She’s got the thing on a belt for overnight, and just to secure everything in place, an ace bandage over that. And I’m just waiting for her to pick another one of those things off… The arrhythmias were still very apparent, the doctor didn’t see anything like two together, but he did see frequency & a couple of every other beats. Hopefully that’s all it is over this 24 hour period, assuming they can get a good read off what we get them.

Then getting my old 401K rolled over to an IRA (after a year), getting set up with life insurance (after medical stuff goes through… after procrastinating over 8 years), turn around and do a work phone conference, and then two months worth of reports. Oy. Busy day.

Which means I have not been out surfing & I hear there was some news out in the world at large that I should probably be clued in on… Not particularly looking forward to some of it…
