Today was much better than yesterday. M1 seems to be on the upswing, M2 gave me no reason to call any emergency numbers, the dentist told me my mouth was beautiful, and I have a brain-crunchy problem at work (likely a server-flunky issue that I can’t resolve, but maybe will have resolved itself by tomorrow).
Things that amused me today: On my way out my aunt’s door after dropping the girls off M1 says, “Mommy Ahoy!” She must be feeling better. M2 before leaving for my aunt’s looking for her beloved fancy-pants car that is a 1:80 scale model of some kind of Lexus with suspension on the wheels, a steering wheel that actually turns the wheels, opening doors, hood, and trunk… she says “Where my Lexus! Where my Lexus!” I admit to being somewhat sad that wasn’t “Where my Lexis(-Nexis)!” but I digress. Of course, it’s my journal & I can do that if I want to! So nyah. Right, the other thing that amused me today was that the radio station at the dentist was playing schlock & they played Steve Perry’s “Oh, Sherry.” I smirked all the way through it. How bad must it suck for the only song anyone remembers you for is you pledging your love to someone who dumped your ass not long after it came out? Ha!
Any other news? Mmmnope, I don’t think so.
