We decided to go to the aquarium this morning. Got everyone dressed & off we went. Found decent parking (yay for street parking on Sundays!), and it was even within decent walking distance for little kids! While we were waiting to pay for our tickets in, a trolley went by that M2 was fascinated by. We ambled through the aquarium, M2 was fascinated by the octopus, and the octopus seemed quite fascinated with her. They looked eye to eye at each other for quite a while. She was also fascinated by the jellyfish. Anything in a big huge aquarium also had her rapt attention, the small aquariums not so much. M1 loved the touching tanks, that was her favorite part.
After we were done at the aquarium, we walked down the piers for lunch and then on the way back to the car, we could no longer withstand the call of the pirate store & went in. I finally have my big ol’ (3×5) jolly roger flag, M1 got a pirate necklace, and all because M2 wanted a pirate rubber ducky… Heh. Arrrrrg!
