Whoohoo!

Back to school night was good. We like M1’s teacher.

Words are coming faster & faster for M2. It’s like being around a little myna bird. I went into the bedroom for something & when I left I shooed her out with “Out you go, out you go…” & she repeated “Ouchoogo, ouchoogo!” (Plus three other new words for Auntie today)… And, not many words here, but then we went into the bathroom & she patted the toilet so I asked her if she had to go potty & she said, “Uh huh!” so she put the little potty seat on, and then I went to leave the bathroom (usually she gets distracted & crawls in the bathtub or climbs up and looks at the fishy or something) & she yelled, “MOMMY!” so I turned around and she had gotten her pants off and was working on her diaper, so I helped her with the diaper & set her up on the toilet… < drumroll please > AND SHE PEEEEED! Then she wiped, and wiped, and wiped, and wiped (because that’s the best part, you know!) and finally I convinced her that it was time to get off the potty & flush, which she did reluctantly finally do. Yay!
