Gov Geek

Huh. That’s kinda cool — http://www.regulations.gov/. I know. What’s so cool about it? This is where you give feedback to regulations. And — when these regulations are published they have to give an accounting, description of, response to all significant feedback raised.

Of course, I assume they get to define “significant”. But still.

And you can read the Federal Register online. The Federal Register is “the official daily publication for rules, proposed rules, and notices of Federal agencies and organizations, as well as executive orders and other presidential documents.” It is also the daily record (plus extended written remarks) of what goes on in Congress.

This class is good.
