The First Ever Parent-Teacher Conference
Seems to have gone very well. No surprises. M1 *adores* school. She’s doing developmentally appropriate things very well, including the stuff we worried about (ie, the social stuff — so I can worry less about the whole lack of peer-pressured-parentally-sanctioned educationally-structured-socialization thing with M2…). We saw some of her work. Wow — even just following the improvement from October to November was amazing. Awesome-possum. She’s a smart kid. I know she could have tested in last year, but I’m so glad we just let her be a little kid for another year. She’s rocking this like an old pro.
In other news… the problem with me making cookies is that I make really good cookies. And then I want to eat them. The jam thumbprints, they are of the devil, so yummy.
