Adding flat-screen monitor & flatbed plotters to the taxonomy today, I suddenly got this image in my head of a big ol’ flatbed rig carrying a load of fancy-pants monitors out in the back-40.

Where I grew up just asserted itself most unwelcomingly in that way…
