Good Morning Raspberries

I woke up this morning & Madeleine was blowing raspberries on my belly. She had a similar rhythm to a swimmer & about as much concentration until she realized I was watching her.

Kids are really silly. Then when she realized she was being watched, she got all smug & pleased with herself. Which would be annoying on anyone much older than her, but at 18 months is just another insanely cute thing…

Then tonight P pulled out YouthQuake by Dead or Alive & we were bopping around the living room. Both girls love to dance. This was on LP so we had to remind M1 a few times to not jump so much or she’d make the record skip. Earlier in the afternoon M1 was singing along happily to one of the Kim Gordon songs on the new Sonic Youth album. She seems to *really* like singing along with Kim. Funny monkeys…
